Our guide was very nice, and really informative. He took us to get some super, delicious and authentic Poncha at a little bar in the mountains (so cheap too). That was a real highlight. We also stopped for so many amazing views of the mountains and we even went offroading for a bit. We stopped at a fishing village and had some spare time to walk around and finished our day at the Madeira Skywalk (platform with glass floor leading down to the beach).

Our tour was included in our travel package and we enjoyed it thoroughly. They picked us up, and dropped us off at our hotel.

We explored and saw most if not all aboutu Madiera. Thank you discovery island, love you all. Highly recommend this company for any tour in Madeira. Definitely coming back.

Canyoning was the first time for me. It was epic. Definitely recommended experience for everyone to try out. Just make sure you pick the right level. Be true with yourself! There are some high jumps. It was cold, I think the water about 5 degrees. Air temperature about 8. Altitude 1500m+.
But we had 5ml wetsuits, neoprene socks, canyoning boots, helmets, kept us surprisingly warm. Beautiful going down the Ribiero Frío.

Coasteering was amazing the day before. The sea water is about 18 degrees so was a lot warmer!! Air temperature about 16 being by the coast. Awesome jumps. Great scenery. Snorkeling and chocolate bar was a great plus!

  An adrenaline fuelled trip - beautiful scenery, abseiling, jumping, clambering over rocks and dips in cold running water. Wetsuits, boots, helmets provided. Safe but good level of challenge.

Excellent guides (three for a party of nine), made a real effort to make sure we had a great day. Over 600 excellent photos taken by the guides as a great memento of our journey down the river. The age of participants varied from 23 to 59, all of us had a reasonable level of fitness.

I called... read more the tour operator to ensure I was confirmed for the tour (scheduled on September 3, 2022). I was reassured that my booking was confirmed. I asked about the pick-up time but was told I’ll receive information the day before the tour starts. I got a phone call the day prior to the tour informing me that the tour was canceled due to not enough participants. Canceling my tour the day before it starts is a big inconvenience because I’m on holiday for one week on this island, and one day is such short notice (and impossible) for me to book another tour. Very frustrated!

  Daniel and Sandro made what was a great experience, one of the best I’ve ever had. The challenges for beginners were perfect, fun and thrilling. Everything felt and well organised... read more from the pick-up to the technical abseiling and jumping. We did 6 abseils, 3 jumps and 3 shoots. People with fear were treated with care and given time, people without fear were allowed to challenge themselves. I would recommend this brilliant company to anybody looking far a fun adventure in Madeira.
