Instructors Beto and Luis were a big part of this experience. They made everyone feel safe, but I guess this is what you anyway expect. But that they are also funny and witty in the best sence is a pure bonus.

(Also I'm expecting Beto to remember the most important Estonian words as I hope many Estonians will find you.)

  Absolutely last minute cancellation for coasteering. We were booked on for two people for coasteering, and they accepted the booking.
About a week before, they called us to ask... read more if we can change to a different date, but we had other things planned so we said we couldn't make a different date, and told them that if the trip was going to be cancelled, we should be informed then so we can make alternative plans.

They reassured us "No, no, the date is fine. The activity will go ahead". I called two days before to confirm the pick-up location, and it still sounded like everything was going ahead as before.
Then, at 7pm the evening before the trip (which was due to depart at like 8am the next day), they called to cancel.

Absolutely scummy business, they know that if they cancel at 7pm the day before the activity, all other places will be closed and it's too last minute to organise another activity, so you can't go to another company. Honestly, I understand if they told me a week before that the trip can't go on because of insufficient numbers, but not at the last second.

Avoid this company if you're travelling in small groups during off-peak season.
We went coasteering with Harmony In Nature instead, and they were amazing. We were again the only two people booked on, but they still continued with the activity (which required 2 guides), unlike Discovery Island

The pick up was prompt and the journey was luxurious in a Mercedes van. Both Sandro and Filipe... read more were friendly and funny!

The journey up took about 30 minutes, when we got there we got changed in to our kit and got back in the van to the start. Definitely wear swimwear under your clothes for a quick and easy change.

We were shown how to use the ropes and we began. Even though this was the beginner option it was not slow or overloaded with instructions. We were explained how to keep ourselves safe and most importantly enjoy the experience.

The first waterfall decent was compulsory and a great way to build confidence. The first part of the route was 'more walking' but we didn't notice as it was still full of jumps and abseils.

The second part was more action packed, with slides, jumps and consecutive abseils. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and the two guides made it exceptional. They were very laid back and kept us all laughing in many different ways.

They showed us how to jump in to the pools to ensure we felt safe enough to go for it. There was another trip ahead of us and the one time we saw them on the waterfall they did not seem to be having as much fun as we were!!!

I would 100% recommend this company, not just for the journey, equipment or location but the two guides who made our day perfect. My only regret, we didn't do this sooner on our trip. If we could, we would go again tomorrow.

They also took photos throughout and emailed them to us within 4 hours of the trip finishing. They made sure to capture everyone's enjoyment and have meant we have lovely memories to look back on.

  We had a half day jeep tour with Discovery Island in the Camara De Lobos area on the island. My partner and I had the jeep to ourselves with our... read more tour guide driving us. Our guide was very nice, and really informative. He took us to get some super, delicious and authentic Poncha at a little bar in the mountains (so cheap too). That was a real highlight. We also stopped for so many amazing views of the mountains and we even went offroading for a bit. We stopped at a fishing village and had some spare time to walk around and finished our day at the Madeira Skywalk (platform with glass floor leading down to the beach).

Our tour was included in our travel package and we enjoyed it thoroughly. They picked us up, and dropped us off at our hotel.

  We had a blast with Filipe and Alex! The guys really knew what they were doing and cracking jokes all the way. Everything felt and well organised... read more from the pick-up to the technical abseiling and jumping. We did 6 abseils, 3 jumps and 3 shoots. People with fear were treated with care and given time, people without fear were allowed to challenge themselves. I would recommend this brilliant company to anybody looking far a fun adventure in Madeira.

  It was a wonderful time! Alex and Filip are the best we laughed all the time and it made this experience even more memorable.
